Bill and Ted, two high schoolers who have dreams of being rock legends with their band, Wyld Stallyns, may have their dreams cut short—and the threat of military school looms overhead---if they fail history. Things begin to look up when Rufus is sent from the future to make sure the duo stick together and pass their history report by time traveling and collecting distinctive figures from history. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure”.

· Bill and Ted enter the phonebooth for the first time. Ted is on the left with Bill on the right. Rufus says, “We’re history”. As the phonebooth starts to sink, it’s Bill on the left and Ted on the right.

· Rufus leaves and as the phonebooth vanishes, Bill and Ted are side by side in the front, close-up view. It cuts to a rear, farther view when the new phonebooth drops and the two are several feet apart. The scene cuts back to the front view and they’re side by side again.

· During the barroom brawl with Billy the Kid, Bill and Ted are sitting in their chairs still holding their cards. A saloon patron swings by on a rope and crashes through a nearby window. The rope swings back and hangs in front of Bill and Ted. The scene cuts to a wider, farther view of the saloon and there is no rope to be seen. A few moments later, when the two stand up, the rope is there.

· Bill and Ted are leaving medieval times. It’s Ted on the left and Bill on the right in the phonebooth just as the knight swings the mace. It cuts to a close-up of the phonebooth and it’s Bill on the left and Ted on the right.

· Mr. Ryan tells the students they’ll “be one report short today”. A view of the stage shows the podium with a flag on either side. A moment later, when the lights go out and the spotlight pans the crowd, the flags are gone.

“Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure” (1989) stars Keanu Reeves, Alex Winter, George Carlin, Terry Camilleri, Dan Shor, Tony Steedman, Rod Loomis, Al Leong, Jane Wiedlin, Robert V. Barron, Clifford David, Hal Landon Jr, Bernie Casey and Amy Stoch. It runs 90 minutes and is rated PG for mild language.
