Lara Croft - Tomb Raider

Lara Croft - Tomb Raider
Heiress, archeologist and adventurer, Lara Croft, races against time to recover the pieces of an ancient triangular artifact that allows the holder to control time during a rare planetary alignment that’s about to occur. While she battles another group who are trying to find the artefact, she also must contend with those who know about the disappearance of her father. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching 2001’s “Lara Croft – Tomb Raider”.

· The morning after the attack on Croft Manner, the UPS driver arrives. The wooden doors of the manner are open and the driver proceeds to knock on the open door to his left before entering. The driver’s feet are shown walking through the debris on the floor. The scene cuts to a front view of the driver and not only are the wooden doors shut behind him, but the floor is clean as well.

· Alex West is taking a shower when he hears a noise. He goes to investigate and opens the door. The front view of the maid (rear view of Alex) as he opens the door shows she has one green towel in her hands. It cuts to a close-up as the maid screams and she now has two green towels which she tosses at him.

· CAUTION: May Contain Spoilers! Manfred Powell has been stabbed in the tomb. He takes the knife out, and when he calls to Lara, he is laying down, with his head on the stone step. It cuts to a close-up when Powell is saying her father “pleaded like a baby”, and his back is propped against the step. Powell brings out the pocket watch and his head it back on the step.

· CAUTION: May Contain Spoilers! Lara and Powell put their guns down. The guns are on the floor as they fight. Lara still doesn’t have them when she retrieves the pocket watch. The tomb starts to fill with water and Lara starts to run. In the views of her running, her guns are holstered at her hip.

· CAUTION: May Contain Spoilers! Lara is trying to escape the tomb. In the close-up, her braid hangs in front of her right shoulder as she’s on the bobsled. It cuts to a farther, overhead view and her braid is swinging behind her. It’s hanging in the front again in the next close-up.

“Lara Croft – Tomb Raider” (2001) stars Angelina Jolie, Jon Voight, Daniel Craig, Iain Glen and Noah Taylor. It runs 100 minutes and is rated PG-13 for action violence and some sensuality.
