Fatal Attraction

Fatal Attraction
Dan Gallagher is a happily married lawyer who has a one night stand with his colleague, Alex. But his liaison comes back to haunt him when Alex becomes obsessed with Dan, stalking him and threatening his family. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “Fatal Attraction”.

· Dan and Alex are having lunch in the restaurant. In the rear view, when Dan is talking about representing his mom, his left arm is stretched out over the chair beside him. His right hand is empty and he can be seen gesturing with it. The scene cuts to a close-up, front view and Dan’s left arm is off the chair and he’s now holding a wine glass in his right hand.

· After she hits Dan, Alex lays back on the bed as he continues to get dressed. The front view of Alex shows her bare chest with the sheet draped near her stomach. It cuts to a side view of Alex (rear of Dan) when she comments, “What rules”, and her chest is now covered.

· Alex puts her hands on Dan’s cheeks. He comments about her hands being wet. She pulls her hands away and leaves a noticeable bloody print on his left cheek. The scene cuts to a view of her wrists and then back to his face where there is now very little blood. The blood is back on his face when he’s looking for a bandage.

· Dan and Arthur are talking. In the close-up view, they’re walking up the steps and Arthur is holding his pipe in his left hand. It cuts to a farther, overhead view and the pipe is in his mouth.

· Dan is home, listening to the cassette tape from Alex. In the front view, he puts the headphones on and the cord falls from the left his left ear, down, and across his chest. It cuts to a farther view and a cord is coming from the right ear.

“Fatal Attraction” (1987) stars Michael Douglas, Glenn Close, Anne Archer, Ellen Latzen, Fred Gwynne and Stuart Pankin. It runs 119 minutes and is rated R for sex and nudity, violence and gore, language and frightening and intense scenes.
